Goes with Paella del Mar, BBQ chicken with fresh coriander salsa verde, smoked salmon and brie fritatta. Fiction, fantasy and a little romance.
2023 Royal Hobart Wine Show
The winemaking process of commenced with the harvest taking place in March of 2022. The grapes underwent a gentle pressing, extracting only the free run juice. Approximately 50% of the wine was matured in oak barrels on lees for around 9 months. The fermentation process involved a partial use of indigenous yeasts in both new and seasoned oak barrels while being stirred minimally. To preserve its freshness and natural acidity, no malolactic fermentation took place.

A pale golden yellow, reminiscent of sunlight glimmering through a glass of freshly squeezed lemonade.
Smells like fresh pear, lemon, poached apple, florals and marzipan.
Tastes like crisp, fresh and dry with a stone fruit core and citrusy pithy texture.
Cellaring potential until 2027
A wet spring was welcomed, filling the dams and setting up beautifully to a dry growing season in early 2022.
