Nero d'Avola 2024

Innocent Bystander

Minimum order of 1 case or 6 bottles (Mixed or straight)

Nero is the new black. This stylish and salacious red is the James Bond of grapes. Smooth, dry and perfectly poised to bring a hint of adventure and a dash of mystery to the table. Originally grown in the dry earth of Sicily, Nero is exceptionally well suited to the sun-drenched soils of northern Victoria.

Food Pairings

Pour alongside Calabrese pizza, seared tuna with Sicilian olives, or roasted stuffed mushrooms.

Fermentation on skins for 7-10 days in enclosed fermenters with regular two spins per day. The wine did not spend time on oak to accentuate its fruit characters.
