Minimum order of 1 case or 6 bottles (Mixed or straight)
The fruit for this 2018 wine was sourced from premium Victorian vineyards, to bring together a complex and well balanced expression of Cabernet Sauvignon.
Individual parcels were matured in new and aged French oak barriques for 18 months before being blended to achieve concentrated fruit character and subtle tannins giving this wine sensational length and cellaring potential.
Patricia would have loved it.
This concentrated red wine would make a great partner to Venison Bourguignon with roasted potatoes in their jackets. It could also be enjoyed with a selection of aged cheddar cheese at the end of a meal.

Nicole Bilson - Winepilot • 11/07/2023Brown Brothers spoil us when they release wines like this with five years of age; we get to drink them without having to be patient. There’s aromas of plush blackberries and blueberries. Rocky road with fine dark chocolate, homemade vanilla-scented marshmallows, freeze dried raspberries and lightly toasted coconut. Intensely concentrated and full-bodied, yet balancing the richness of fruit with an unexpected elegance. The flavours dance between black cherries and plums, dried lavender, black olives, and spicy just-brewed chai tea. This wine wraps you up in the immersive experience of walking through an old-growth forest – the fragrance and calm of earth, wood and verdance. There are high levels of dusty talcum-powder tannins and a bright berry acidity that promises further cellaring will continue to reward; but why wait?

Huon Hooke - The Reall Review • 09/04/2024Deep ruby to brick-red with a trace of purple in the rim and a definite cabernet bouquet including stalky tomato bush and cassis aromas. The wine is intense and bright on the tongue with slightly elevated acidity, the flavours intense and focused, precise and long, backed by savoury, drying tannins which are nicely balanced. Starting to drink well but cellar longer for the best pay-off.

Deep and glass-staining ruby-red colour. Blue and black fruits with bay-leaf, tobacco leaf and a dark graphite aroma profile. Fills the palate with a fine line of cassis, graphite and cured meats, all melded in perfect harmony and caressed by a subtly powerful tannin drive. Lingers very long and is all about class and sophistication.
The wine spent 18 months in 40% new, and the balance older French oak barriques. A number of blending trials took place to produce a very intense and powerful wine from a low yielding vines.

Colour | This 2018 vintage has an inky dark purple colour. |
Aroma | It displays rich aromas of blackcurrant and dried herbs, while the French oak influence offers a gentle ‘cigar box lift’. |
