The Pirie Vintage Rosé is showing an elegant salmon pink colour. There is some lovely rose petal, strawberry and freshly baked bread aromas. The palate is tense with a graphite mineral edge and powerful fruit driven complexity due to the Pinot Noir grapes used to make the wine. It is also boasting incredible balance with cool climate Tasmanian fruit.
The perfect accompaniment to a range of canapés including smoked salmon and dill mayonnaise. Or why not try it with pan-fried ocean trout served with bok choy and a garlic and soy dressing, and for the sweet tooth; raspberry and vanilla parfait.

A rosé blend of 90% pinot noir and 10% chardonnay from the Kayena vineyard in the Tamar Valley; made in the saignée method with a small amount of dry pinot noir added for final colour. Pale salmon with a fine, persistent bead and mousse. Aromas of redcurrant, Ruby Red grapefruit and strawberry. Some raspberry lift and hints of rose petals, crushed stone and shells, redcurrant pastries, sea spray and meadow flowers. Dry and savoury with finely honed red berry and citrus fruits, plenty of tension and minerality and a stony lean on the finish.
