A smooth blend of Syrah and Cienna with hints of vanilla, orange and sweet winter spice. Beautifully soft and aromatic. On cold winter nights, try it warm and garnish with an orange slice and cinnamon stick.
The Brown Brothers Winter Red is a smooth and soft easy drinking red that is perfect with lighter meat dishes like roast chicken or duck and with a light red wine jus. It is also perfect for spicy dishes, think Thai red curry or lamb saag and garlic naan. Don’t forget about a cheese platter of washed rind and lighter blue cheese and your favourite quince paste.
The Shiraz was fermented through to dry, while the Cienna fermentation was stopped early to leave some sweetness in the final wine. The deliberate decision to not use any oak was chosen to ensure the fruit intensity was at its highest.

| Growing Conditions | A blend of Shiraz (60%) and Cienna (40%) the Brown Brothers Winter red was selected from our Mystic Park vineyard in the North West of Victoria. This vineyard is warm to hot and the perfect growing conditions to get bright red berry fruit from the Cienna and soft tannins from the Shiraz. |
