Highlighting fresh citrus flavours of lemon and lime, the Resolution Riesling is a zesty and vibrant cool-climate white that's naturally crisp and refreshing.
The nose is tight in its youth showing lime juice and slatey mineral lift. The mineral elements follow through to the palate with a pith texture. The acidity caries the citrus flavours for a long time on the palate and keeps the finish crisp and fresh. This Riesling is a bright, pale straw colour with tinges of green.
The Devil's Corner Resolution Riesling fares well with salt & pepper calamari, or a Vietnamese banh mi with BBQ chicken and fresh herbs.

"Pale straw in the glass with focused aromas of freshly squeezed lime, green apple and grapefruit with hints of citrus blossom, crushed slate and oyster shell, almond paste and a light whiff of freshly sliced fennel bulb. There's a suggestion of lemon curd on the super-tight, focused palate that shows serious velocity with a crystalline acid line pushing the wine forward, finishing dry and precise with a briny, limey blast on the exit."
The winemaking process for the Resolution Riesling involved meticulous handling of the selective harvested Riesling fruit. Only the finest free run juice was used, ensuring the highest quality juice for fermentation. The clarified juice was then inoculated with a carefully chosen selection of aromatic yeast to enhance the wine's vibrant aromas and flavours. Fermentation took place in tanks at cool temperatures, preserving the bright and fresh characteristics of the wine. This Riesling exhibits a beautiful balance of clean citrus and jasmine aromatics. The wine's classic Tasmanian acidity adds a precise and refreshing element to the overall taste profile. It is recommended to enjoy this wine at its peak until 2027. Additionally, it is vegan-friendly, appealing to a wide range of wine enthusiasts.

Growing Conditions | The Resolution Riesling is crafted from carefully selected fruit grown in ideal cool-climate conditions. The majority, 95%, comes from the Kayena Vineyard located in the Tamar Valley, known for its exceptional Riesling grapes. The remaining 5% is sourced from the Hazards Vineyard in the East Coast region, contributing to the wine's complexity. Harvested in April, the fruit is picked at the optimal ripeness with baume levels ranging from 11.5 to 12.5. These selective harvesting practices ensure the highest quality grapes are used in the winemaking process, resulting in a Riesling that showcases the true essence of the terroir and the variety. |
