Only free-run juice was used. The wine was fermented by wild yeast in older French oak for texture and mouthfeel; and stainless steel tanks to enhance fruit weight and aromatics.

Wine Analysis | Alc/Vol: 14% |
Colour | The colour is youthful and vibrant with a golden green hue. |
Aroma | On the nose the pear and melon flavours are evident. |
Palate | Savoury and textural from the oak fermentation while maintaining classic Pinot Gris apple and pear flavour, generous mouthfeel and length. |
Peak Drinking | Ready to drink now but will go up to five years well stored. |
Growing Conditions | The Pinot Gris grapes for this wine were taken from a selection of blocks at our Hazards vineyard on the east coast of Tasmania. Handpicked to ensure minimal colour pickup from the skins, at baumé levels ranging from 12.5 to 13.5 on the 12th of March. |
