Mt Baudin Chardonnay 2022
Devils CornerMinimum order of 1 case or 6 bottles (Mixed or straight)
Crafted with premium Tasmanian fruit in a place where hazard meets haven, the wines in our Hazards range are rugged yet refined; named after the remarkable Hazards Mountains that serve as a backdrop to our East Coast Vineyard. The Mt Baudin Chardonnay shines with classic characters of white melon, almond and bright citrus fruits. A sophisticated white wine made from a single block of cool-climate Kayena fruit.
A Chardonnay with this class and distinction screams out for quality food accompaniments. Try it with baked whole fish Barramundi with lemon and thyme. Serve with a zesty hollandaise dressing. Or why not try it with a selection of cheese brie and camembert.

The exceptional Chardonnay is a testament to meticulous winemaking. Handpicked from the renowned Kayena Vineyard in Tasmania, only the highest quality free-run juice was chosen. This wine underwent barrel fermentation in French oak barriques, with 37% new French oak, followed by lees stirring in barrel, which imparted a luxurious texture and complexity. With its peak drinking in 2031, this vegan-friendly Chardonnay is a true reflection of its terroir, offering a harmonious blend of fruit, oak, and elegance.
