Fortune Favours Pinot Noir 2023
Devils CornerMinimum order of 1 case or 6 bottles (Mixed or straight)
Fortune favours the bold. The brave. The determined.
It takes a certain brand of courage to harness the rich potential of this rugged stretch of coast, but up against the wild winds and soaking rains, sometimes our fate is best left to the elements to create a wine worthy of this place. Select parcels of basket-pressed fruit and time maturing in oak barrel give this Pinot Noir a subtle complexity; its rich, savoury, and toasty palate shining through aromas of juicy red currants, raspberries, and spice.
Destemmed only to stainless steel fermenters. Rapid air injection for skin contact. Hand-plunged in open top fermenters. Basket-pressed to tank and barrel. Aged for 10 months in French oak for complexity.
