Even our winemakers have favourites. This Shiraz from Heathcote has been selected for this special range because it's a Shiraz with a flavour quite unique. Inspired by our micro-winery, named the Kindergarten, this wine was matured in French and American oak for 18 months. This powerful and generous wine has rich dark berry flavours, plenty of spice and long, fine tannins for a smooth finish.

Jeni Port - Halliday Wine Companion • 21/08/2025Matured in French and American oak for 18 months. Hard to beat in flavour and in price with its plummy, vivacious Heathcote personality on show. A cooler vintage brings a little more acid energy and brightness married to red plum, black cherry, pepper, spice, sage and dusty earth. Hits plenty of earlier-drinking flavour goals.
This wine was matured in French and American oak barrels, of which 10% were new, for 18 months.
