Even our winemakers have favourites. This Shiraz from Heathcote has been selected for this special range because it's a Shiraz with a flavour quite unique. Inspired by our micro-winery, named the Kindergarten, this wine was matured in French and American oak for 18 months. This powerful and generous wine has rich dark berry flavours, plenty of spice and long, fine tannins for a smooth finish.
Food PairingsThis wine would work beautifully with a sesame beef and snow pea stir-fry on classic ramen noodles. Or why not try homemade tagliatelle with smoked eggplant and tomato. And for cheese, an aged pecorino with lavosh.
This wine was matured in French and American oak barrels, of which 10% were new, for 18 months.
