The Prosecco Pink Grapefruit Spritz is a brand new addition to our Brown Brothers portfolio. It is a fresh twist on the Brown Brothers Prosecco that is so popular right now. The colour is a vibrant salmon pink. On the nose it is lifted with fresh grapefruit, water melon and juicy green grapes. The wine is vibrant and moreish and best served cold or over ice.
Prosecco Pink Grapefruit is best enjoyed with great friends, a large wine glass, ice and a slice of dried grapefruit. For food, shared plates are best! Think antipasto platters and charcuterie plates. Or why not try it with your favourite green Thai curry or pan fried lemongrass prawns.
Prosecco is a grape variety with Italian origins that produces a refreshing sparkling wine. Made using the Metodo Italiano or Charmat method,the grapes are generally harvested early to get high levels of natural acidity and fresh crisp flavours. Brown Brothers was one of the first to plant Prosecco in Victoria’s cool climate King Valley. The King Valley is climatically the closest region in Australia to north east Italy and our Banksdale vineyard at 485 metres above sea level is the perfect home for Australia’s premium Prosecco.
