Patricia Noble Riesling 375mL 2022
Brown Brothers

Minimum order of 1 case or 6 bottles (Mixed or straight)
The Brown Brothers Patricia Noble Riesling is recognised as one of the best dessert wines in the world. First released in 1962 from our home vineyard at Milawa, The Noble Riesling harnesses the cool misty mornings and warm days of Northeast Victoria to develop the Botrytis on the grapes.
Fresh lifted aromatics and classic botrytis notes of orange marmalade, citrus and honey make this beloved Noble Riesling the award-winning wine it is. Complex, rich, elegant, and sweet, "Noble Rot" has been a long tradition at Brown Brothers, made in honour of our family's matriarch with handpicked grapes from our Milawa vineyards.
A dessert-lover's drink of choice, enjoy this wine with vanilla bean and salted caramel semifreddo, or a baked lemon cheesecake. For something savoury and light, pair with blue or washed-rind cheeses, sliced pear, and crackers.

Fruit for the 2022 vintage was hand picked in late March, between 18.5 and 25 baumé with significant botrytis development. The wine was bottled with an alcohol of 9.05% and a residual sugar level of 188g/L.
Vineyard Region | King Valley |
Wine Analysis | Alc/Vol: 9% |
Colour | Bright, thick, golden yellow. |
Aroma | The nose has fresh lifted aromatics and classic botrytis characteristics like orange marmalade, citrus and honey. |
Palate | Concentrated and complex with a silky mouthfeel. The high natural acidity balances the residual sweetness to provide a refreshingly clean finish. |
Peak Drinking | Until 2032 |
Growing Conditions | The 2022 vintage was one of two halfs. Early season rainfall was persistent filling the dams and soil profile. The rain pushed into late February and then broke leading to a warm and dry remainder of the season. There was enough moisture to promote the Botrytis leading to excellent concentration of sugars and acidity. |
