Origins Series
Minimum order of 1 case or 6 bottles (Mixed or straight)
The rolling hills of Right Bank Bordeaux, blooming lavender fields and sprawling chateaux were the inspirations that led to Brown Brothers Origins Series Merlot. A fruit-forward wine that’s medium in body with lifted aromas of red berries, subtle liquorice and spice.
Try it with a grilled venison steak served with a radish and lemon salad, or aged cheddar cheese and nut bread.
Following fermentation, 70% went to French oak barrels of which 5 % was new. The balance was kept in tank to retain the dark berry fruits. It was then blended and bottled.
